It was in early 1900s in Japan, Dr Mikao Usui received divine empowerment to heal the mankind. He named this energy as Reiki, Universal Life Force Energy. He left Chujiro Hayashi, a retired naval officer as his successor. As Second World War was going to begin .Hayashi wanted to make sure that Reiki should not be lost. So for the very first time,He trained Mrs Hawayo Takata, A Non Japanese as A Reiki Master. Mrs Takata passed away in 1980.Till then, She had trained 22 Reiki Masters who had worked further to keep Reiki alive.

It is 2017 now, Reiki,Usui Method of Natural Healing is  world wide popular, recognized legally in some countries as an alternative medicine system for its simple learning and easy to apply technique. Positive results are countless among the millions of lives.Some Scientific Research are still going on to understand that energy how only laying on hands do benefits the patient to this extent.

And Reiki is growing on..

Except in Antarctica as It is a no man’s land, Let’s have a look in the other six continents of world.

North America

In USA as per a survey in 2008,60 Hospitals directly encourage their patients to take Reiki.800 Hospitals are teaching Reiki to 30000 people every year including doctors,nurses,medical staffs and outsiders.
